Infant Massage

Calm and Connected

Current research demonstrates that early bonding and attachment with our infants has lifelong benefits for health and wellness.

Come join Sue Ford, pediatric occupational therapist and certified infant massage educator for hands-on instruction and guidance with infant massage to deepen your understanding of infant cues and increase communication and bonding with your infant.

Utilizing nurturing touch and infant massage techniques, infants and their caregivers will learn calming strategies, communication of need, strategies for gas/colic/sleep and tools to increase bonding and attachment that can be utilized in a variety of settings and situations.

Classes are open to caregivers and their babies (ages 5 weeks to pre-crawling), and are greatly encouraged for families to enrich this cherished time in babies life. The skills covered in these series will help to solidify the foundation for attachment and resiliency, communication, enhance development and self calming, and provide parents with hands on tools they can use for years to come!

What Parents Have to Say…

I really loved the class! It was a calm and safe place for us to come each week and learn new ways to comfort my baby and connect with her. Since I am having challenges with nursing, getting such special time with my baby really meant a lot to me!”

“Thank you! It has changed how we communicate with each other! I feel so much more connected to her and confident as a mother. Already, her gas has improved and she is a much happier baby!”
